These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and business owners who inquire about, request, or purchase website design, development, or management services from BuiltForLocal.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a business, company, or partnership, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

BuiltForLocal creates, builds, and maintains professional websites tailored for local service businesses. At the time of this document, our standard advertised packages include:

Starter — $399 (one-time payment)

A high-performance one-page website designed mobile-first, including clear services presentation, business info, direct call and message actions, service area/location display, photo optimization, fast-loading foundation, and basic search setup.

Complete — $699 (one-time payment)

A comprehensive multi-page website including everything in Starter plus up to 5 core pages, dedicated service pages, structured content layout, room for customer reviews and business story, page-specific search metadata, 2 rounds of revisions, and 60 days of post-launch support.

Managed Care — $99/month (optional)

An ongoing website care subscription including hosting management, technical maintenance, small content updates, performance monitoring, and priority support. Managed care is completely optional; your website is yours regardless.

Custom Projects — from $999

For businesses requiring custom integrations, advanced workflows, or larger multi-page architectures beyond standard packages. Custom terms and deliverables are agreed individually in writing.

Taxes

Maxim Francesco PFA is not registered for VAT in Romania. No VAT is added to listed prices.

For our standard packages, we operate on a $0 upfront model. You do not pay a deposit or setup fee before we build your initial website.

Our standard process proceeds as follows:

• —1. Information Gathering: You provide the basic facts about your business, services, contact details, photos, and any existing links or reviews.
• —2. Development: We design and build the actual working website on a private, non-indexed preview link.
• —3. Review: You test and review the live site on your phone and computer, and provide feedback.
• —4. Approval & Launch: Once you approve the website and complete the one-time package payment, we connect the site to your domain and publish it live.

The private preview link provided during development is for your internal review, evaluation, and feedback only. It is not licensed for public commercial use, reproduction, copying, or scraping prior to full payment.

Revisions: The Complete package includes 2 rounds of revisions within the agreed project scope. For other packages or custom projects, revision allowances are defined by the selected package or individual proposal.

Revisions cover adjustments such as text corrections, image swaps, layout tweaks, and minor styling refinements. Fundamental changes in business scope, brand direction, or full redesigns requested after build commencement may require an adjusted proposal.

Payment becomes due after you have reviewed and approved the website on the preview environment, prior to public DNS propagation, live launch on your domain, or transfer of production deliverables.

Payments must be made through our authorized payment channels as agreed during invoice issuance.

If you decide not to approve the preview website, you owe $0 for the standard build. In that event, the preview link will be deactivated, and no license or ownership rights in the design or code are transferred.

Upon receipt of full payment, we proceed with final launch procedures:

• —Configuring production DNS and SSL security certificates on your domain.
• —Enabling production search indexing and submitting sitemaps where applicable.
• —Conducting final post-launch performance and mobile checks.

To ensure timely project completion and legal compliance, you agree to:

• —Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date business details, pricing, licenses, certifications, and service descriptions.
• —Ensure you own or hold valid licenses/permissions for all photos, logos, trademarks, audio/video assets, and testimonials supplied to us.
• —Provide timely feedback during the review process.

BuiltForLocal formats, organizes, crops, and edits supplied materials for web presentation. However, BuiltForLocal does not independently verify the truthfulness of your business claims or copyright ownership of materials you provide. You remain solely responsible for your supplied content.

We believe in complete transparency and no platform lock-in: Your website is yours.

Upon receipt of full payment for your project:

• —Custom Deliverables: You receive all transferable rights, title, and interest in and to the custom text, compiled pages, graphic compositions, and layout created specifically for your business website.
• —No Lock-in: You are never trapped on a proprietary closed platform. You are free to host, export, modify, or move your website at any time.
• —Underlying Tools & Open Source: Pre-existing software libraries, utility scripts, development frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS), and open-source packages used to build the website remain subject to their respective open-source licenses.
• —Third-Party Media: Any third-party stock photography, fonts, icons, or embeddable widgets remain subject to their respective vendor license terms.

You may use an existing domain name you already own or register a new domain independently with your preferred registrar (e.g., Cloudflare, Namecheap, Google/Squarespace, GoDaddy). We provide technical guidance for DNS setup.

Unless explicitly included in a written agreement, domain registration fees and ongoing third-party hosting fees billed directly by external registrars/hosts are the client's direct responsibility.

Our Managed care plan is completely optional at $99 per month. You do not need Managed care to own or operate your website.

When active, Managed care includes:

• —Hosting infrastructure management and SSL certificate maintenance.
• —Regular technical updates, security patches, and dependencies upkeep.
• —Small content updates (e.g., updating phone numbers, swapping photos, adjusting price lists or business hours).
• —Uptime and performance monitoring.
• —Priority direct email and messaging support.

Managed care does not include full website redesigns, extensive new feature programming, or third-party paid ad management (which can be scoped separately).

You may cancel Managed care at any time with 30 days' written notice. Upon cancellation, your recurring billing stops, and we provide guidance if you wish to transition hosting to your own account.

We build websites with clean semantic HTML, search-engine-friendly technical architecture, responsive design, and fast load speeds.

However, BuiltForLocal cannot and does not guarantee specific Google search ranking positions, web traffic volumes, inbound leads, phone calls, customer bookings, or revenue. Search visibility and business results depend on many external factors outside our control, including local market demand, competitor activity, customer reviews, geographic density, and search engine algorithm changes.

The Complete package includes 60 days of post-launch support starting on the live launch date, covering bug fixes, technical adjustments, and clarification questions.

Following the included support period, ongoing technical support and updates are available either under our optional Managed care plan or on an ad-hoc quoted basis.

If a client initiates a build but fails to provide essential content, feedback, or communication for more than 45 consecutive days without prior written arrangement, BuiltForLocal reserves the right to archive or decommission the inactive preview build.

You agree not to use our services or deliverables for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, abusive, or deceptive purposes, or in violation of any applicable local, state, federal, or international regulations.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, all services and deliverables are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BuiltForLocal or its operator (Maxim Francesco PFA) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with our services or these Terms.

Our total cumulative liability for any and all claims arising under or related to a project shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to BuiltForLocal for that specific project during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BuiltForLocal and its operator from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) materials, content, trademarks, or assets you provided to us; (b) your business operations, services, products, or customer disputes; or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania (European Union), without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any mandatory consumer protection rights that you may be entitled to under the applicable laws of your country or state of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

In the event of any disagreement, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by direct communication before pursuing formal legal remedies.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect service updates, operational changes, or legal requirements. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Updated Terms apply to new project requests, new orders, and subsequent service renewals placed after publication.
